Second Generation Agency
Countrywide Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded back in 1976 by Charles Wathen. For 21 years, he worked to establish our agency within the communities of Indiana and Kentucky from our New Albany, IN office, providing personalized service to his clients. In 1997, the agency passed to his daughter, Susan Wathen, who has worked to uphold his tradition of individualized, excellent service ever since.

When Charles started Countryside Insurance Agency, Inc., he founded it on three core principles that have now become a tradition in our agency. As such, we are always working to uphold them by working to understand each and every one of our clients as an individual and by always being available when you need us. Outside of the office, we love to connect with our community, seeing everyone at church, ball games, and local restaurants. Our relationship with our clients is at the core of what we do, as it has been since 1976.
